DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and a romantic city tour
Arrive at Kigali international airport where you will be met by your driver guide and depending on your arrival time, enjoy a private city tour including the Kigali genocide memorial and artisan markets. In the evening, savor a candlelit dinner at a fine dining restaurant before returning to your hotel.
Day 2: Transfer to akagera national park
After breakfast, depart for akagera national park, Rwanda’s only savannah park. upon arrival, check in at a luxury safari lodge overlooking the plains. In the afternoon take a game drive for a first glimpse of giraffes, zebras, elephants and antelopes. After, return to the lodge for a romantic dinner under the starlit African skies.
Day 3: Game drives and sunset moments in akagera
Enjoy a full day game drive to explore the parks diverse ecosystems and spot the big five. Pause for a private bush lunch in the wild before returning to the lodge. In the evening, take a scenic walk or enjoy the serenity of the park.
Day 4: Boat safari on lake ihema and transfer to lake Kivu
After the morning breakfast, head out for a private boat safari on lake ihema where you will spot hippos, crocodiles and waterbirds. After the boat cruise return to the lodge for lunch.

Day 5: Transfer to volcanoes national park

Day 6: Gorilla trekking

Day 7: Golden monkey trekking and departure
In the morning after breakfast, head to the park for a briefing about golden monkeys. After the briefing, enter into the forest in search of the golden monkeys. Once located, you will spend an hour with these primates in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch.
After, check out of the lodge and embark on the journey back to Kigali. On arrival, you will be dropped off at the Kigali international airport for your flight back home.
